How do we pay?
We accept check, Zelle, and Venmo. Payments are made directly to our company in order to complete the transaction as soon as possible. Through our online link with the RMV, we then pay the state fees on your behalf. Credit cards are also accepted but not encouraged.
How long have you been in business?

I am moving to Massachusetts, but my lienholder won’t give me the vehicle title, what do I do?
Follow our guided registration process and we will discuss how best to contact your lienholder in order for them to send us the title or other necessary documentation.
I'm not sure if I filled my form out correctly, what do I do?
Our team will review your submission via email and let you know if there is anything wrong. There are also multiple opportunities to edit your entries during the process!

How to get set up as a vendor?
Contact us at GETPLATEMA@GMAIL.COM if you require documentation to set us up as a vendor for your dealership.
What payment methods do you accept?
We recommend an open check to streamline the process. You can also request a quote to make a check out, or you can contact us to discuss billing options.
What is your turnaround time?
We submit the paperwork the same day we receive it in the mail, as long as the documents are correct. The RMV processing time can vary between 24-72 hours. We get the license plates back once they are done and ship out same day, as long as you have the provided return shipping label included.
I have some paperwork on hand already, what is the best process?
We recommend going through our guided registration process and selecting that you already have your paperwork. You will answer a few questions in about 3-5 minutes, and then receive a sample Registration and Title Application along with a guide of other necessary documents. This will save you a lot of time and a headache trying to piece together all the documents on your own.
I’m not sure if my paperwork is acceptable, can you check first?
You can scan your paperwork to us after completing either option of the guided registration service. MA will not accept illegible documents if they are low quality scans or have been altered in areas that are not allowed. We highly recommend getting clear scans or pictures of necessary documentation to avoid any hold ups.
The insurance company sent me an incorrect RTA, can I correct it?
You can only correct section B excluding B1 and B5, and section D3,4,6 and 8. If they make a mistake elsewhere then you need a new, corrected RTA. This is why we highly recommend using our guided registration service first to avoid errors.
I have a difficult customer who will not get insured after buying the vehicle, what do I do?
A title only does not require insurance and will put the vehicle in the customer's name. The lienholder needs to be recorded. This is recommended if it is a difficult transaction for whatever reason.
Is a license for an appointed Power of Attorney (POA) necessary for a previous assignment on the title even if it is not from our dealership?
Yes, this is non-negotiable. Massachusetts instituted this rule in August 2023, and any POA signature on a required document after that must be accompanied by the POA's license. To clarify, this is a copy of the license of the person who signed as POA on the customer's behalf. They can black out their address and license number if they are concerned.
How do I fill out form DR123?
The DR123 form must be entirely typed or entirely handwritten. MA does not accept a typed form with handwritten prices.
Can clients get tax credits for trade-in vehicles from out of state?
Yes, as long as they own the vehicle or it's from an immediate family member. You may need to provide proof of ownership.
